life is what you make it

This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Girls wil be your friends - they'll act like it anyway. But just remember: some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they're your true best friends. Don't let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friend in the world. As for lovers, well they come and go too. And babe, I hate to say it, most of them, actually pretty much all os them, are going to break your heart. But you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your soul mate. You'll never find that half who makesyou whola and that goes for everything. Just keep trying, hold on, and always always always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will sewwtie? So keep you head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, beause life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about.

It's the morning and just we two

Credits to my dad for showing me this awesome band. Not many people of my age know Cream, provably because they lasted only two years together, 1966 to 19968 (I know, good times for being a rocker, weren't them). However, in such a short time they released four albums, one of them being Disraeli Gears, which this song belongs to. They made cool psycodelic rock and their guitar player was quite good, his name was... nah, maybe you don't know him. It's Eric Clapton. See, I knew you didn't.

Ladies and gentlemen, the great Charlotte Free for WildFox S/12.
I don't know if it's the clothes or the model and her pink hair or the landscape or the fact that I'm so looking forward for Summer holidays, but the truth is I can't stop looking at theese pics. Awesome artwork, dude.

New York

A few years ago, I had a dream. It began in the summer and was over by the following spring. In between, there were as many unhappy nights as there were happy days. Most of them took place in this café. And then one night, a door slammed and the dream was over.

My Blueberry Nights (2007)

My Blueberry Nights is easily between my 20 favourite films ever. It has been widely criticized (fairly many times) for things such as Jude Law's poor acting, implausability of some situations, clumsy and awkward dialogues, randomness of the character's actions... and the list goes on. I recognize that this film can be considered mediocre if you measure it with the same pattern that you use with the ordinary ones, but for me that's not the point. I guess its charm lies more on its grainy images, random slow motion footage while the audio goes on normally, remarkable abundance of sunsets, old school Jazz soundtrack, warm colour palette and deathly cute settings. For a bit more than an hour, you feel as you were sitting on the diner of a small in-the-middle-of-nowhere town, just staring at the rest of the customers and trying to figure out what their lives are like, with plenty of time to waste and a coffee and a slice of blueberry pie in front of you.

Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end.
Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it,
without knowing what's going to happen next.
Delicious ambiguity...
