crazy dyed hair

I have to admit I'm really into bright-colour dyed hair, although I don't know exactly why. I mean, there are many reasons why I souldn't do so, such as:

a) I live in a small and very conservative city, so I gess if I dyed my hair the colours that I have in mind right now (twitter blue, bubblegum pink, mint green and so on) small children would provably start crying when they see me and old ladies would have their sensibility unavoidably damaged.
b) I consider myself a bit of a maniac when it comes to colour-shade mixing, so I gess I'd be likely to get mad when the blue on my shirt didn't suit the pink on my hair.
c) If I did so, mum would disinherit me immediately, and then I would have to look for a bridge to live under, and I'd make my living playing the guitar on the streets and it's very cold in winter out there and and... that's mainly why I think it's not a good idea.

Anyway, those well-constructed and fair reasons don't prevent me at all from sometimes feeling like booking a cheap flight to London and having my hair decoloured and dyed until it gets burned off. But then I think of my mum's eyes looking at my blue or green or yellow nails in disgust while we're having supper, and you know, I... I really like my bed.

Have I been a fool

So this is my British crush Jack Peñate. I know the song is not one of his newest, but its video is like DIY level: masterpiece

DIY Rainbow Cake

Found this cooking beauty in a blog the other day... isn't it like the cutest thing on earth?
I didn't have to do too much research until I found the recipe, but anyway, it's basicly about making the classic flour-eggs-sugar-butter-milk cake, dividing the mixture into parts, adding different food colouring to each one and baking them separately. Then you make some frosting out of milk, butter and confectioner's sugar, and you use it between the layers and to cover it all.
You can find the recipe I took here:

Think I'm gonna make it for my birthday the 29th this month. I know, looks like I was turning four instead of eighteen but... how the hell am I supposed to avoid craving for one like this!?

I'm fine without you

The first 10 minutes of Ethernal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) are bound to get you on your nerves: there you've got the childish irritating churlish Clementine Kruczynski (Kate Winslet) trying to seem interesting and mysterious while clumsily flirting with Joel Barish (Jim Carry), a deeply dipressed man not deprived of self-compassion at all.
However, if you manage to repress the urge to throw something to the screen and you keep on watching it, you will discover a deep and life-teaching story. For me, this film is mainly about changing. About how we think we've changed a lot but in the end still the same. About how we change our minds towards something we thought we never would. About how we make others think we've changed just to protect our deepest feelings. As relevant as the changing subject is the forgetting one. The plot dives into the matter of how right would it be to be able to totally forget about something or someone that, by either pain or love, left a great impression on us and made us be the way we are now. The changing thing is reflected on Clementine's hair colour, which turns from blue to orange to red to green as the time passes by (backwards, actually). In her own words:
“It changes colour a lot. It’s called Blue Ruin…this company makes a whole bunch of colours with equally snappy names. I apply my personality in a paste.”
The forgetting thing is represented by a company called Lacuna Inc., whose purpose is to erase a certain person from their customer's mind. Who has never ever imagined something like that? Who has never ever said "I wish I had never me you"? So, I'm not gonna ruin you the whole film but... I'll just say that hopefully some things can't just be  deleted.
