Although the band is from Oregon (USA) this song is in fact about my hometown, Oviedo (Spain), where apparently the singer spent a year as an Erasmus exchange student. A friend of mine showed it to me some time ago and I freakin' really like it. And yes, there are peacocks in the trees in Oviedo. 
Not kidding at all.
